I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of the costume, unfortunately we don't have time to replace this before the local kids' Halloween events.
The "molded" armor isn't molded. It's just flat. It's also completely different in shape/style from the image. The knee pieces are just flat orange chunks of thin foam, with a bit of 3-d molding, but they were not cut to shape like the parts that are shown in the picture.
Finally, the set we were sent was clearly packed inappropriately and the vinyl belt piece had fused to the armor and peeled off some of the color from it when I took it out of the package.

My third grader absolutely loves this costume, as evidenced by the fact that we ordered in August and Halloween is in October. The helmet and armor on the costume make it seem much more real, and he's engaged in lots of pretend play and home movie making since its arrival. He is an average sized 8 year old (50% height) and the medium was a better fit than the large.

The quality of the costume is mostly the same as similar Halloween costumes, so if you have purchased other costumes alike, you've know what I mean.
The real surprise is the fact that, despite of the pictures or what the description says, the molded armor parts ain't molded. They are made of a different color of fabric, to make a difference between the jumpsuit and the armor parts. The most notorious difference are the knee pieces. They are just flat rectangular foam stripes, not even remotely similar to those on the pictures. The molded parts on the arms are also flat, and not detailed at all like in the pics.
Honestly, for the same price, you can make your own custom costume. If you pay someone to make your own costume, probably you'll get better (and less expensive) results.

This costume does not have molded pieces. It is not the deluxe costume in the photo nor the one on the package it was sent in. I thought I was getting a reasonable deal not having to pay shipping, but I could have gotten a much nicer costume for the same price in the costume shops. I kept it only because I was worried about finding an replacement so late in the season.

What happened here?!? This costume looks nothing the like the picture (which by the way is also the picture on the bag). What a big fat disappointment, I never get screwy things from Amazon but this costume is certainly a screwy thing!
